The exquisite design by Ajarn Thanee Chinchusak (Jitdrathanee) has created new phenomenon to the world of new Buddha images continuously. The design contains the auspicious meaning of ‘4 Faces Buddha (Prasit Brahma) Riding on the Flying Heaven Swan’. With the height of only 18 cm on a teak base, the image depicts 4 Faces Buddha descending from the heaven to grant wishes.

Normally, 4 Faces Buddha would turn his palm towards his chest, but in this design the palm is turned outwards to grant the sacred wishes to the humanity, for prosperity in lives. The heavenly swan, the celestial vehicle, with the heavenly twig of Kalpapruek in its mouth, brings all the auspiciousness to the house of the worshipper. The swan tail flicks beautifully in a ‘Kranok’ style pattern.

To keep every detail realistic, the molding was done separately in 16 pieces, to reflect the 16 realms of Brahma in Buddhist belief. This should be, therefore, the most elegantly designed Brahma on the heavenly swan of this age.
